Artist of the Month
Kathy Hawk
Kathy Millhorn Hawk is a native of Kingsport, TN having graduated from East Tennessee State University with a B.S. and M.A. in Art Education. She has continued her study through many workshops with local and internationally known instructors. During her career as an elementary art educator she maintained an active role in the local visual arts programs through teaching, volunteering and participating in many exhibitions. She has experience in calligraphy, watercolor and mixed media, with current interest in monotype and monoprinting. Her work is in collections in the southeast and northwestern US
