REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Students should fill out the attached registration form and include a check made payable to the Kingsport Art Guild (notation made on the check memo line as to the class title and start date) and addressed to the KAG Education Program, Renaissance Center, 1200 E. Center St., Kingsport, TN 37660, prior to the first class meeting. Registrations will only be accepted by this method; no online registrations are available. Class information is available online at www.kingsportartguild.com or by calling 246-1227 and leaving a clear message with complete contact information. CANCELLATION POLICY: Refunds will be handled by giving a 100% refund if cancellations occur one week prior to the first class. A $20 withdrawal fee will be charged if the cancellation occurs less than one week prior to and up to the second class meeting. After the second class meeting, no refunds will be given.
EVENING DRAWING and PAINTING: Instructor: Steven Reeves. MONDAY evenings 6:00 - 8:00pm
Winter Term ends March 26.
Spring Term: April 2 - June 25. (No class Memorial Day, May 28)
Open to high school student and adults. Perspective, color theory,
technique, and student's personal goals are considered as the class
draws or paints from life, reference materials, as well as from the
imagination.
Fee: $44. per month.
Students accepted throughout the term.

Tuesdays 9:30 - 11:30am
Free and open to the public. Come paint with us!
Work on your own project or work on the project of the day.
Wednesday Painters: Renaissance Center, R313, 9:00A.M. to 3:00P.M. January through March, 2012.
Artists will work on their own original projects or paint from a "set-up." Limited instruction.
The expected format is two hours of independent work followed by a group
critiquing session; the afternoon session will repeat this format.

As the room is not ventilated by exhaust fans, oil paints and
attendants solvents are excluded. Open to all KAG members and fellow
artists.
CUTTING MATS - workshop: Instructor: Greg Cross. Saturday, March 24, 2012. 10:00am – 2:00pm Renaissance Center, R313. Open to high school students and adults. Limit 9 students. Free to Art Guild members and $35 for non-members. This workshop is geared to help those who want to learn how to select the best color of mat, make proper measurements, and cut professional mats for photos, drawings, paintings, etc. Please contact the instructor prior to class for registration and more information at crossautographs@hotmail.com or 423-230-0521 and leave a message.
CALLIGRAPHY: Instructor – Sandra McGinnis - 3 Tuesdays, March 13, 20, 27, 6:00pm – 7:30pm. R313, Renaissance Center. Open to high school students and adults. Class size - minimum 5, maximum 10 students. Learn to do beautiful lettering with a calligraphy pen. Concentration will be on Chancery Cursive lettering. Fee: $45. Students provide their own pens.
